Are we allowed to talk about other cpps in this wiki?
Yeah, something's not right... how did you get the Flash version of club penguin legally without obtaining it from the old flash database? I mean, why not you guys could convert it to HTML5 instead if they managed to make it work. I'm not saying that I could run Club Penguin on my Toaster -_-
I think I Love THE 2005-2012 Club penguin. But we are Closing ThIS. Now the Old Client Of CPPS Will shut down. The last is Club penguin Online By switching The clients. Now We decided To shut down. To Deveolper Makes Old CPPS Be LIKE 2012-2017. tHE Last Party will be Waddle on Party.
When was that CPPS game created? 2006? 2008-9? Someone tell me when it was made.
I have went to one private server (and it's...well, not in the best shape right now) and I'm wondering something.
I read the CPPS page and I noticed how the page mentioned that a few Private Servers allow you to transform into anything at anytime (don't question it, I just really liked the transformations during parties) and I was wondering which Private Servers these are that are both currently "open" and online, as well as English (since that's my native language).
Like CPPS.me? One of those wouldn't be a bad alternative. Who agrees?
Edit: I guess I should finally update this post to say, well, there's now Club Penguin Rewritten, which I guess is technically one of those CPPS's. But unlike other CPPS's such as CPPS.me, there's no commands to get you tons of items and coins and cool stuff, etc. So it works a lot like the original club penguin, attempting to simply revive and recreate CP normally, similar to Toontown Rewritten. It's pretty cool, and I definitely some of you guys check it out. Quite fun, and it's more like the 2010 Club Penguin than the modern Club Penguin (which recently literally got shut down, lol), so that's another interesting aspect to it.
OldCP has some rules such as no swearing. If you ask the staff there at OldCP, they'll say no.
You guys may have questions whenever or not playing a Club Penguin Private Server is illegal. Same thing when hosting one. Disney and Club Penguin disagree on Private Servers and they thought that entering your information may result in your account getting the risk of getting hacked or something.
According to a Club Penguin Support staff member, she told me the following from a discussion I made about CPPSeses:
Please understand that websites like CPPS are not part of Club Penguin and entering your penguin information into sites like these may result in your information being compromised or a ban on you account being placed.
And there's another one, when I solemnly swore not to play a CPPS, not even host one, there's another reply:
I also want to remind you that entering your penguin information into other sites than Club Penguin is against the rules...
What do you think about these responses I received from the Support staff member? are you never going to look CPPSeses the way they were before? Would you risk playing them? In that case, let out your thoughts about it.
Update: They also confirm that using CPPSeses are considered cheating if used, just like item and coin adders, and may result in a 72 hour ban (3 days) or forever, depending on the punishment. These sites won't protect your account and they might use the information typed to access your account. Therefore, A different password on a CPPS and on CP may reduce this risk. Always make sure that the passwords are different.
