- It began on the same date as the Halloween Party 2014, and was the fourth Anniversary Party in a row to be held concurrently with a Halloween Party (the first time it happened was with the Halloween Party 2011 and 6th Anniversary Party).
- It was first mentioned and confirmed on the What's New Blog.[1]
- It was the eighth anniversary party after Disney bought Club Penguin in 2007- the first being the 2nd Anniversary Party.
- It was the second Anniversary Party to last for a week, the first being the 8th Anniversary Party.
- Just like the 1st, 7th, and 8th anniversary parties, the Book Room was not decorated.
- It was the first Anniversary Party to also take place on the Club Penguin App.
- The Celebration Stamp was not obtainable during this event.
- Many current and former moderators visited during this party.
