April Fools' Day was an event in Club Penguin Island. The event began on April 1, 2018 and ended on April 18, 2018. The ??? ????????? zone was opened during this event.

Easter eggs

Although not specifically part of the event, on the first two days of the event, eggs were hidden in various zones to tie-in with Easter, which was on the same day as April Fools' Day in 2018. On April 1, purple eggs were hidden at Beacon Boardwalk and orange eggs were hidden at Island Central. On April 2, green eggs were hidden at Coconut Cove and blue eggs were hidden at Mt. Blizzard. There were three eggs in each of these zones. While standing near one of the eggs, they would glow and float for a few seconds. Standing near each of the eggs were part of four daily challenges, but served no other purpose aside from the challenges.

Trivia

• During the 1st Anniversary Party, Aunt Arctic foreshadowed the event by stating that Crate Co. sent dozens of empty boxes, and that they could be used to store the anniversary decorations once said event ended on April 1st.
