Only the Town Center was decorated. It had a banner hanging from the Coffee Shop that read "BETA TEST PARTY", and there were two boxes of party hats.

Trivia

  • It is the shortest party ever in Club Penguin, the two parties each lasting for only two hours. The party was held on September 21, 2005, from 3pm-5pm GMT, and another one was held on the same day from 3pm-5pm PST.
  • This is the only party to be held before Club Penguin was officially opened.
  • Rsnail, Billybob, and Screenhog were all online during this party, so beta testers were able to meet them and even play Mancala with them.
  • The reason the party occurred was because the Club Penguin team felt penguins needed some fun in the middle of beta testing, and because they wanted to see how many penguins they could get online at once (to test the server capacity).
  • The party peaked at 155 penguins online simultaneously.[2]
