The Blue Propeller Cap is a free head item that appeared in the 2007, 2009, and 2012 April Fool's parties. Just like all other propeller caps, when dancing with no other clothes on, you will float from the ground. It is most likely that they release different colours every time which is either a pattern or random colour.

Trivia

• Many penguins will wear it if you make a flying army.
• It was rare until it returned during its re-release during the April Fools' Party 2012.
• The blue propeller cap was the second propeller cap that came out, the first one being the Red Propeller Cap.
• A glitch for this cap is when you wave with it on, it will move to the right side of your penguin's head.
• A penguin wears this hat on the Join Team Blue postcard.
• It is one of the few items available to non-members that has a special dance.
• You can fly with the propeller hat with a green puffle.
