Besides, a movie is not something you can just throw out willy nilly. Movies take a lot of time, effort, and significantly, money. There would have to be movie makers that are pretty passionate on making a movie about a kids game where the most "plot" there is would be throwing snowballs and clicking. A ton of money would have to go into it. Considering Disney has been making extreme budget cuts for the game in the past year, I wonder if they even would be willing to use up resources for a mere commercial. Besides, there have been three specials, is a movie really necessary? What on earth would be able to fill up two hours worth of movie? "Herbert has a dastardly plan... and only one penguin can stop him. Join Gilbert, a clumsy penguin with a knack for adveeeeenture, as he makes friends, and even enemies, on an epic quest to go through a maze and throw a few snowballs."
Even five or so years ago, when Club Penguin was at its peak, I would doubt a movie. And with the game on rapid decline, the small chances are slimmer than ever. How many movies based on video games do you know of? Not many huh? And the ones you do see are pretty cheaply made correct? Lots of negative feedback too? Movies based on video games just do not work in the industry. Taking the whole foundation of a video game, player interactivity, and removing it, it completely takes away the immersion.
I know it's tl;dr... but If it was a movie, so it needs to be given a 1-week production unless they rush it to the movie theater. but that's no way to get positive reception from Critics because Game-To-Movie Adaptations are tended to be bad... besides what Would a Movie version of Club Penguin's plot be?

I'd always imagined it as as either development of existing characters (e.g. mascots), by providing their own stories or background, or perhaps a close perspective of the experience of a party with plot (like Opertation Blackout or Medieval Party 2012), all while maintaining gameplay aspects.
I think a CP Movie is a good idea. What's wrong with that?!

We're not saying it's a bad idea. There's no such thing as a bad idea, only bad executions of ideas.

Oh ok.
And if anything, the closest thing to a Club Penguin "movie" would be those stop-motion specials that play on Disney Channel.

Don't forget the music videos and shorts!
Personally both are fine, I think the problem boils down to budget and plot execution.
