The Box Costume was a rare body item in Club Penguin. Members could obtain it for free after collecting all the items from the Silly Scavenger Hunt during the April Fools' Party 2011, where it was needed in order to enter Strange Dimension. During the April Fools' Party 2012, it could be obtained in the Zany Dimension.

Glitches[]
- There was a glitch that if you wore both the box costume and the Purple Propeller Hat and dance, your penguin will do both actions simultaneously. This glitch has since been fixed.
Trivia[]
- While dancing and wearing only this item, your penguin would begin to crouch inside it and the flaps at either side would pull together so you look like an ordinary box.
- Similar items were the Present Outfit and Gift Costume.
- Rookie sometimes would wear this during the April Fools' Party 2011 and the April Fools' Party 2012, but with his own version.
