- Cadence usually "talks" in slang, abbreviations, or hashtags. She also has an interest in taking selfies. This was originally a minor aspect of her speech style, but increased in prevalence over the years, particularly in 2013.
- According to issue 381 of the Club Penguin Times, in response to a question asking which type of music is her favorite, Cadence stated she has shelves full of rock, indie, hip hop, country, and dance music albums, all of which are some of the many genres she likes, but cannot choose just one as her favorite. She also states that, at the time the issue was released, she had started recently listening to J-pop music as well.
- In a Newspaper issue during the Make Your Mark: Ultimate Jam she explains the process of becoming famous by using a "Fame marshmallow" as an example, saying "You'll never know when the fame marshmallow will come knocking at your door."
- Her new shirt appeared in the Puffle Party 2013 Gotta Have A Wingman music video but was not released until the Teen Beach Movie Summer Jam.
- She is a big fan of the Muppets, specifically Miss Piggy.
- She is scared of bugs.
- In issue 561 of the Club Penguin Times, when asked if she can dab, Cadence states she has "been getting [her] dab on but it's not part of [her] current show."
- In the comic Diva-Napped, Cadence is kidnapped by Herbert P. Bear. He believes Cadence to be "responsible for 83% of the noise created by penguins" and intends to release her only when her fans promise to never play music again. Cadence eventually escapes while Herbert is distracted with defending his base from EPF agents that came to rescue Cadence.
- She is the only penguin known to be specifically targeted by Herbert that has no relation to the PSA or EPF.
