Issue 150 of the Club Penguin Times, published on August 28, 2008.
Rookie: "Well Rory, the Penguin Games were a hit! Tons of penguins showed up and showed off what they could do."
Rory: "Right you are, Rookie. The Games were more fun than that time I installed new plumbing in the Coffee Shop."
Rookie: "I’ll take your word for it…"
Rookie: "The word on the island is that penguins are seeing gold. Many medals were given away, and both the Red and Blue Team have declared victory."
Rory: "Much like building a perfectly straight wall, everyone involved was a winner for sure. I’m as proud as a crab with a clawful of caramel cakes."
Rookie: "Okay, seriously. What does that even mean?"
Rory: "Do you have any idea how hard it is to make a caramel cake when you’ve got claws?"
Rookie: "Umm… No."
Rory: "It’s tough. That’s why I’m proud."
*silence*
Rookie: "Well, I agree. I’m proud of everyone too."
Rory: "That’s peachy keen."
Rookie: "And so congratulations to everyone who won, and a big thanks to everyone who participated. We’re signing out. I’m ‘Rookie’."
Rory: "And I’m Rory. Good games, and happy building."
Bambadee image: "“I’ve made lots of friends thanks to Rockhopper, and if you’ve got a friendship bracelet, I know you’re one of them!”"
Gary image: "“Pizza? I just wanted to get my pizza faster, so I created the Pizzatron 3000, a more efficient way of making it. As for the Jet Packs - effective transportation and great entertainment.”"
Explorers image: "“We’re always looking for new things, and so should you! Our top tip is to click on everything while you're looking around – there are things hidden all over the place.”"
