The Demotion Project is a place where any user can vote on users to be demoted.

Rules and how to nominate

Rules

• You cannot vote for or against yourself.
• You cannot tell other users to vote for or against someone, including yourself if you are nominated.
• You must have made at least 50 mainspace edits.
• A user that was nominated for demotion cannot be nominated again in the following month.
• A vote closes after 2 weeks.

How to nominate a user

1. Contact an admin and mention the nominee's username. Tell the admin why you believe a demotion should be done.
2. This admin will then confirm whether it's a reason for demotion. If possible, it's also recommended that 2 admins will confirm it.

CPW Community Admin (+1)

Nominated by -TwinkieReborn- and confirmed by Apj26. (Ends September 26th at 18:21)

CPW Community Admin has recently falsely accused breaking policy, claiming it is against the policy to release screenshots of “conversations from outside the wiki”. This is not, nor has it ever, been true. He claims that a second chance will be revoked, and that a block will be placed. False accusation and unnecessary block threat.

There have also been events of bad behavior from CPWCA. There has also been an instance known of him repetitively saying something along the lines of “Roll on New Years Eve” towards an admin, knowing 2018 will be when said admin leaves.

CPWCA demoted Custard on the Discord server, an official extension of the Club Penguin Wiki, after he refused to tell CPWCA where Apj was. He later claimed he was altering the rights of every user on the Discord. This was proven to be a lie by Custard, using the Discord Audit Log. Apj saw the Audit Log too.

A bureaucrat without proper knowledge of the policy is one that is hard to put trust in. False accusations point to a bad sign in someone’s power. It is not one the wiki needs.

  • I would just like to make it clear that I was only making some suggestions to Dps regarding his annual Christmas postcards, as we were discussing his designs from previous years. When I first read the statement you concluded about me "harassing" him, I decided to speak with him on Discord in PM and he didn't feel harassed in any way.   • I'd like to start off this reply by stating it has nothing to do with that. As Pixie said, you didn't want to state any reason for supporting the demotion of Vicyorus. • I agree with Twinkie's point. I've nothing to add. EDIT: Actually, I'll add. You have to question the motives of a user who says he's going to leave the wiki if he gets demoted (which, on top of everything else, sounds like a bit of a bribe to get people to vote Against).   • Demoting an admin (on the Discord, which is an official extension of the wiki and therefore counts as abuse) because he didn't give away another user's info is a "minor incident"?     • While I understand that your comment is most probably sarcasm. He wasn't trying to say it's acceptable to abuse your powers, he was just stating that it doesn't justify a demotion.     • I never said it was acceptable. It isn't, and I told him in chat not to do it again. I'm saying it isn't worth permanently demoting someone on the wiki for demoting and repromoting someone on Discord. Instead, perhaps his rights can be suspended there. • In regards to the Discord incident, I will admit I was wrong here, I acknowledge that. If you wanted me demoted for this incident (which occurred 11 days before you began this demotion), why didn't you discuss it with another admin or bureaucrat and a potential demotion could have been discussed within the rest of the administration. Also, considering leaving the wiki due to the demotion doesn't mean I do not like the wiki, if this was the case I would not have created my account here.   • Twinkie did discuss it with a bureaucrat - Apj - hence this vote. Your employment reasoning is hardly sound, are you saying that if you keep your rights, you won't consider employment, and thus will stay with us? You've said yourself that you'll be leaving if you get demoted (check the very beginning of the logs for September 23rd) - why has your tune changed, CPWCA? EDIT: I'd also like to mention that you didn't admit/acknowledge about the demotion until after you'd been exposed lying about tinkering with the rights. A murder suspect is under investigation. He repeatedly denies he's done anything wrong. Eventually, undeniable evidence is found to prove that the suspect did, in fact, murder the victim. The murderer then admits that he did the crime, and confesses that it was wrong. CPWCA only admits that he was wrong to demote because the evidence PROVES that he did it. He was denying it beforehand. He lied until he had no choice but to tell the truth. You know it is CustardBird 17:22, September 24, 2017 (UTC)
