Club Penguin Wiki:Promotions

This page is for requesting user rights for a user.

There are 3 types of user rights in this wiki: rollback, administrator and bureaucrat. You can request to receive these user rights via two people nominating you. One of these people must already be an administrator, the other can be anyone. Once they have nominated you, the administrator must add the request onto the corresponding page. To learn more about the user rights, click here.

When a request has been completed, successful or not, please archive it here.

Nominee Notice: After being nominated, you can enter reasons on why you should be nominated next to the "nomination sentence". Your requestautomatically closes after 2 weeks. To be successful, you must have a vote difference of +7. A vote difference is calculated by the amount of "for" votes subtracted by the amount of "against" votes. Furthermore, 2 sysops must have voted for if the nomination is successful.

Voters Notice: Please read the voting policy thorougly before you vote.

You must vote in either "For" or "Against". If you vote in for, you have to sign underneath the "For" heading. To do this you have to type this in:

You may also leave a comment no longer than a sentence when you sign. Any longer and you have to leave it in the "Comments" section.

After you have signed it, you must change the number in the brackets up by 1. (e.g. if it was at 3, it means 3 people have already signed it. Change it to 4 when you sign it.) This is also the same with the number by their name. If you vote for, you must also increase the number beside his name by 1.

Please remember to use "#" instead of the usual "*", because it numbers the votes making it easier to count them.

You can also remove your vote. If in any case you change your mind, do not remove your vote completely, just strike it out and move it to the back of the list. Remember to use an asterik when moving it to the back of list, as it would not show up as a numbered point.

3. I don't want to be rude, but not only is Hal not fit to be an admin (she doesn't even need it, nor is she consistent enough), we have a good amount of admins at the moment. • Hal Homsar Solo is a hard-working editor with over 14,000 edits on this wiki alone. She logs on daily, and edits every time. She also socializes with many users throughout the wiki. She has been editing for over a year, and has been granted rollback rights. She reports vandals almost instantly when finding them. Hal Homsar Solo has proven to be active, care about users and the wiki, and edit constantly. --Alxeedo TALK 19:16, June 22, 2010 (UTC)

• Hal does do a good job editing, but she has too many flaws at this time, such as the quitting. She needs to slow down on the quit threats and the "I'm ignored" thing on IRC. I don't want to hurt Hal's feelings, but I don't feel that she is fit for admin rights at this time. --$harkbate ^Talk2Meh 19:49, June 22, 2010 (UTC)
• I agree with Sea and Shark. She may have a lot of edits, but her future on this wiki isn't stable. At points when she is upset, she has the "retired" template on her userpage, and continues to edit. Days later, it is removed.
