Drifting Away is an optional side mission in Club Penguin: Elite Penguin Force. During this mission, the player helps a penguin recover lost paper sailboats.
This side mission can be played during free play mode after completing the eighth main mission, Flying High Pitched.
Walkthrough
At the Dock, a penguin is worried because the wind carried his three paper sailboats away. If the player offers to help, the side mission begins.

The penguin thanks the player for helping, who asks where the sailboats are. The penguin is unsure, but says they are in the water. If talked to again, he mentions that one is nearby, one is a little farther but still close, and one is very far. These sailboats can each be retrieved with Flit, in any order. They are:
- At the Dock, there is a red sailboat, in the sea between the Town and the dock.
- At the Beach, there is a green sailboat, in the sea between the path to the Dock and some beach chairs.
- At the Iceberg, there is a beige sailboat, in the sea next to the part of the iceberg jutting upward.
