Club Penguin Wiki

Elite Gear was an application on the EPF Spy Phone, as well as a catalog in the EPF Command Room. It allowed players that were Elite Penguin Force agents to purchase clothing with the medals earned by completing Field-Ops, Spy Drills, and some in-game EPF missions.

Classes[]

Each set of gear represents a different class of agents in the Elite Penguin Force, each with their open specialized roles in the agency. As described by Gary in EPF Phone messages from May 2011, the classes are as follows:

  • "Tactical agents are experts of snowball combat. They are heavily armored, and solve problems head-on with as much action as possible."
  • "Comm Agents are experts in intel and recon. They solve problems with information and diplomacy. They are excellent leaders."
  • "Tech agents are gadget-geniuses and computer experts. They solve problems with intellect, and are most powerful in front of a computer."
  • "Stealth agents are masters of disguise. They solve problems by waiting and watching for the right time to act. They are very secretive."

Several agent characters are the lead of each class, and are sometimes referred to by their title, after their name. Jet Pack Guy is the Tactical Lead, Rookie is the Comm Lead, Gary the Gadget Guy is the Tech Lead, and Dot is the Stealth Lead.

Sets and actions[]

By dancing with the full outfit of some of the sets, the player could perform a special dance. The sets that allowed doing so are the following:

  • Tactical Gear - The player rolled to the side, then back.
  • Comm Gear on - The player pulled out a computer and typed on it. A large satellite and a smaller satellite would spin around to capture signal.
  • Tech Gear on - The player put down the Tech-book 3000, opened it up, and a hologram appeared.
  • Stealth Gear - The armor transformed into a recycle bin disguise.

Trivia[]

  • The Dark Vision Goggles were the only item in the Elite Gear to have been available outside of it.
  • When the prices were updated in April 2013, all items' prices were multiplied by 5, except for the Alpha Headset, Delta Headset and the EPF Earpiece, which were doubled.
  • All of the Elite Gear were bait items if a player attempted to perm them.
