The Club Penguin Trading Card Game is the first set of real-life Card-Jitsu Cards. It and the Club Penguin Trading Card Game – Card-Jitsu Puffle Deck comprise the first series of Card-Jitsu cards. This set was released on November 17, 2008, and contains 110 cards. On June 16, 2010, the set was re-released.

This set was released in Spanish on April 26, 2011, and in Portuguese on May 13, 2011.

Cards in this set have a light blue penguin icon in the lower-right corner of each card. The re-release versions of the cards have a light green penguin.

Card packs, boxes, and tins[]

Single Packs[]

Single packs each contain 7 random regular cards, 1 random power card, 1 random customize card, 1 random sticker sheet, and 1 code card. Although the description for the pack claims the 7 regular cards are comprised of 4 "common" ones, 2 "uncommon", and 1 "rare", it is not specified which rarity each card is.

Double Wide Blister Pack[]

Double wide blister packs vary between releases. The original release contains 3 single packs, for a total of 21 random regular cards, 3 random power cards, 3 random customize cards, 3 random sticker sheets, and 3 code cards. Although the description for the pack claims the 21 regular cards are comprised of 12 "common" ones, 6 "uncommon", and 3 "rare", it is not specified which rarity each card is.

The re-release contains 2 single packs, for a total of 14 random regular cards, 2 random power cards, 2 random customize cards, 2 random sticker sheets, and 2 code cards. It also contains a popup, of either Sensei or a ninja.

Booster Box[]

Booster boxes each contain 24 single packs, for a total of 144 random regular cards, 24 random power cards, 24 random customize cards, 24 random sticker sheets, and 24 code cards.

Value Deck[]

Value decks each contain 28 random regular cards, 4 random power cards, 4 random customize cards, 4 random sticker sheets, and 4 code cards. Although the description for the deck claims the 28 regular cards are comprised of 16 "common" ones, 8 "uncommon", and 4 "rare", it is not specified which rarity each card is.

Tin[]

Tins each contain 42 random regular cards, 6 random power cards, 6 random customize cards, 6 random sticker sheets, and 6 code cards. Although the description for the tin claims the 42 regular cards are comprised of 24 "common" ones, 12 "uncommon", and 6 "rare", it is not specified which rarity each card is.
