The Model-Making Kit: The Plaza is a real-life book written by Katherine Noll. It contains press-out paper-like pieces and step-by-step instructions which allow you to build a 3D paper model of The Plaza from the 2007-2012 era, including the interiors of each building. It also contains a few other paper accessories, like penguins, puffles, tables, chairs, a grand piano and many more.

- The Stage features some changeability. For example, you can switch the backdrop and "Now Showing" sign to four different plays: Fairy Fables, Ruby and the Ruby, Squidzoid vs Shadow Guy and Gamma Gal and Quest for the Golden Puffle.
- There are some 3D accessories, which means they need to be assembled (unlike the 2D ones). This is true to the Switchbox 3000, the Pizza Parlor counter, puffle beds and houses and a few others.
- There are a few inaccuracies present in the model: the launchpad that is normally situated on top of the Pizza Parlor is absent and, in the interior of the same building, the second and third walls have been swapped. The 'employees' door in the Pet Shop is absent and the stage is missing a number of exterior details, as well as the interior door.
