The Halloween Party 2006 was Club Penguin's 2nd annual Halloween Party. It started on October 27th, 2006, and ended on November 1st, 2006. There was only one free item at this party: the Wizard Hat. This item was found in the Snow Forts. A solar eclipse appeared making the island constantly dark for the whole time this event was on.

- The book The Ultimate Official Guide to Club Penguin describes it as one of the "best parties" at the time.
- This party (along with the 2007 one) was darkened by an eclipse unlike Halloween Parties from 2008 onward, which were darkened by storms instead.
- It was the first party to have the Aurora Australis (commonly known as the Southern Lights).
