'''Hydro Hopper''' (formerly known as '''Ballistic Biscuit''') was one of the first five [[minigame]]s in ''[[Club Penguin]]''. It was accessible through the [[Dock]].

==Gameplay==
In the game, the player rides along on an [[inner tube]], towed by [[Hydro Hopper (boat)|a motorboat]], and has to go through the various levels. The inner tube follows the mouse in an arc, based on its horizontal position, and the player can jump by pressing the left mouse button.

In each level, a series of obstacles appear from the top of the screen downward, and the player must avoid them. Running into an obstacle knocks the player over into the water, and the player loses a life, from a total of 3. After [[#Obstacles per level|enough obstacles reach the bottom of the screen]], the level ends, and the next level starts after a pause screen. Starting at level 2, the player may gain another life by collecting a white life ring that sometimes appear, but may never have more than 3 lives left. The game ends by being knocked over without having any more lives left.

Whenever the player moves past an obstacle, they receive 1 point, or 10 points if they jump over the obstacle; the only exception being gray [[buoys]], which will knock the player over anyway if they try to jump over it. When the game ends, the player earns 1 [[coin]] for every 10 points from the total score, rounded to the nearest multiple of 10.

Every level has progressively more obstacles than the last. Level 1 only has 20 obstacles, level 2 has 45, etc. Once level 16 is reached, the amount of obstacles is no longer increased, and is capped at 750.

In addition, [[members]] can buy the [[Pink Striped Wakeboard]] and [[Yellow Arrow Wakeboard]] from the [[Game Upgrades]] catalog at the [[Dock]]. If either are worn while entering the game, the player rides the wakeboard instead of a tube as usual. If a wakeboard is used, points earned from jumping is doubled.

*Level 7 to 8: What's the difference between a fish and a piano? You can't tuna fish!

==History==
Hydro Hopper is based on a previous game from [[RocketSnail Games]]' website, ''Ballistic Biscuit'', created by [[Rsnail]] in 2000 for the [https://www.greenbay.bc.ca/ Green Bay Bible Camp]. The game had human figures instead of [[penguin]]s, and Rsnail later made various versions of the game for other websites. The music was first added on September 23, 2005.

===Rename===
In issue 99 of [[The Penguin Times]], published on September 6, 2007, a vote for renaming the game was held. Players could choose one of five options to replace original name Ballistic Biscuit. The results, published a week later in issue 100, are as follows:
