Hmm...Something seems to live here... ...and who knows when it'll be back. At least it has slippers to keep warm! And what are those strange things in the ice? Wow check out this Ice Cave! Look at the strange creatures frozen in the ice. That one looks a lot like Fluffy! Hmmm... I wonder where this path leads. |
- Not to be confused with the Ice Race Cavern.
The Ice Cave (originally named Cave) was a temporary room located within the Toughest Mountain. The main characteristics of the rooms are the icy floor, the frozen ancient creatures on the walls, and a large Viking ship.
During the Mountain Expedition, this room could be accessed by a moving a boulder in the bottom right corner of the Mountain. During the Great Snow Race, the entrance was instead blocked by yellow and black tape if the player was not an Elite Penguin Force Agent, which was the only way to enter. Inside, the Infrared Tracker could be obtained, which could be used to progress through the new nearby room, the First Laser Maze.
Trivia[]
- Field-Op 48 took place here.
- Chester's Time Travel 1000, a giant sabre-tooth Fluffy the Fish, and a sabre-tooth Shocktopus appeared in this room, frozen in ice.
