The introduction to Club Penguin was a tutorial that appeared for new players when they logged into Club Penguin for the first time, since December 19, 2013. It introduced new players to basic features of Club Penguin through small quests, and provided a few exclusive items as rewards for completing them. Players that already logged in prior to the debut of this tutorial could not access it, nor could they obtain any of the item rewards from it.
It was the third first login tutorial, the second one was the Welcome Solo room (June 2011-November 2013), and the first one was a brief tutorial popup (prior to June 2011).
Quests and rewards[]
A tour guide named Tourdude taught the player how to use the map, how to earn coins, and introduced the Clothes Shop, Pet Shop, and the player's own igloo. By going to each one of those places, the player received exclusive rewards. Since 2015, if a party was occurring, a brief explanation of the party would usually be given.
