The blog's current design
- Not to be confused with the What's New Blog from the original Club Penguin game.
The Island News Blog is the official blog of Club Penguin Island, that contains news, upcoming events, Penguin of the Week posts, You Decide! polls and more from the staff of the game. It can be accessed on the Club Penguin Island website, or directly from the CPI Phone in-game. The blog was released on March 29, 2017.
Players can comment on posts made on the blog by logging in with a Disney account, although comments must be approved by moderators before they appear on the post. Additionally, emojis available by default in the game can be posted along with a comment, with the exception of the "Blank Stare" and "Igloos" emojis.

Trivia[]
- Specific blog posts cannot be accessed on a mobile or desktop browser and can only be seen in-game through the CPI Phone. These posts are always written from an in-universe perspective (similar to the Club Penguin Times stories), such as Aunt Arctic interviewing Rookie, or a report of a presumed UFO sighting. These posts can be viewed on the game messages page or alongside normal posts in the app category of the Club Penguin Island website.
