The Life Ring was a hand item in Club Penguin. Members could obtain it for free during Cove Opening Party, while all players could earn it as a prize from Sushi Drop. It was also unlockable from series 4 and 8 of the Treasure Book, or from Club Penguin: Elite Penguin Force: Herbert's Revenge.
