List This article is a list of things. |
Starting in late 2012, pins were changed to be obtained by directly clicking them, instead of the original method of standing on top of them. These pins were not directly embedded into the rooms they were hidden in, but were saved as separate objects. While they were hidden, the rooms.json
file with the info about the rooms in which they are hidden and their coordinates, which represent the distance of the pin's center from the left (X axis) and top (Y axis) sides of the room. This page lists these coordinates.

Trivia[]
- The first pin to be saved separately with its coordinates is the Snowflake Pin.
- The coordinates of a hidden pin and its item ID are saved in the
rooms.json
document of Club Penguin, as properties of the room in which it is hidden. Since each language has its own version of the document, it means that pins could potentially be hidden in different places in different language versions of Club Penguin. - Some pins, such as ten from the Frozen Fever Party 2015 and Frozen Fever Party 2016, were also clickable, but were embedded into the rooms like in the old pin system, rather than being stored separately.
