- If you waited long enough at the Ski Hill or Iceberg at the party, the normal paced fireworks would have been replaced by a volley of about 5 or 6 for a few seconds.
- It was the longest New Year's event, lasting for two weeks, whereas past New Year's events have only lasted a few days.
