Tour Description
This is the Night Club Rooftop! Check out those awesome lights! Bust a move on the dance floor... or try out the Music Player 3000!

The Night Club Rooftop was a party room in Club Penguin that appeared at several parties. It first appeared at the Dance-A-Thon. The Night Club Rooftop also served as the base point for Santa's Sled whenever it appeared.

Except for the Make Your Mark: Ultimate Jam and Music Jam 2016, this room could only be accessed by members. At the 2009, 2010, and 2011 Music Jams, an All Access Pass was also needed to enter.

During the 2009 and 2010 Music Jams and the 2011 and 2012 Puffle Parties, the Music Player 3000 was present, which allowed the music in the room to be changed.

Appearances[]

Dance pads[]

During the Music Jam 2011 and Make Your Mark: Ultimate Jam, there were four dance pads on the rooftop, each with a different color. If a player stood on one and danced, music would play, with different instruments being used depending on which color pad was danced on.

If two players danced on a pad, the music would gain more instrumentation, and if there were three or more players dancing, even more instrumentation was added.

Trivia[]

  • Occasionally, a penguin wearing a jetpack would fly past the rooftop.
CPT 196 settle on the metal

The "stay off the metal" rumor acknowledged in issue 196 of the Club Penguin Times

  • The rooftop also hosts a launch pad on top of it, which is used in Jet Pack Adventure to complete the first level. Although the launch pad was visible in this room the first few times the rooftop was accessible, it was not present in its appearances after the Puffle Party 2011.
    • In issue 196 of the Club Penguin Times, prior to the Music Jam 2009, the In Focus section mentions that "some penguins thought Cadence would only arrive if they kept off the 'metal', but we can assure you that's not the case", referring to the launch pad (and the rooftop's previous appearance at the Dance-A-Thon). Cadence dismisses this rumor, and says that "you can settle on the 'metal' - it's all ice to me". This is in reference to a fan rumor that claimed Cadence would only appear (as a meetable mascot) if players were not standing on the launch pad.
