The Prehistoric Party 2016 was a party which began on January 20 and ended on February 3, 2016. It was first confirmed in a comment by Megg on a post on the What's New Blog. Players must go back in time to the Prehistoric era for the third time using Gary's Time Trekker 3000 in order to assist him in collecting prehistoric power fragments that will be used to create a new power source for the UFO.

- It was the third Prehistoric Party to occur in Club Penguin.
- It continued the events of Operation: Crustacean.
- Members could adopt Dinosaur Puffles, for the third time, during the party.
- It was the first Prehistoric Party to have the Time Trekker 3000 at the Dock.
- Players could collect prehistoric power fragments from Dino Dig on desktop, and by tapping on them in the prehistoric rooms on the app.
- On the app version only 5 prehistoric rooms were accessible.
