Private Chat is an upcoming feature that will be added to Club Penguin in 2013.

- Billybob once mentioned Private Chatting in a blog post on the What's New Blog in 2006. This means Private Chat has been planned since 2006.
- It was confirmed by Spike Hike that the Private Chat feature will be released some time in 2013.
- It may be possible that that you won't be able to Private Chat everyone, just friends.
