— PH, Left to Your Own Devices mission
|
The Puffle Handler, almost always referred to as PH, real name Paige,[1] is a puffle trainer and researcher, explorer, and an agent in the Elite Penguin Force (EPF) in Club Penguin. She helps the Elite Puffles develop their skills as their training coach so they can assist the agency. She also teaches other EPF agents about puffle abilities. Outside of the EPF, PH works closely with puffles in general, from rounding them up to training them. Many of the puffles she trains with end up in the Pet Shop to be adopted by penguins.[2]
Character[]
Design[]
PH is a penguin that was originally pink. In her debut, she wore a beige fedora with a maroon band, and one side of the fedora is bent upwards. She wears a Puffle Whistle around her neck, which allows her to call Elite Puffles.
Since 2011, PH has been brown instead, and gained three freckles on either side of her beak as well as eyelashes. Her beige fedora was replaced with a larger pale green one with an orange band along with a dark brown wig with small, lighter brown stripes, tied in a ponytail to the right side of her head. She still wears a Puffle Whistle, but now also wears a brown belt with multiple pockets and a pouch, as well as orange hiking shoes with black soles.
In 2012, PH's design slightly changed. She now wore a beige fedora again, with a brown band and golden puffle brooch in the front. Instead of a belt, she now wore a pale lavender shirt and brown pants, and an opened beige jacket with two pockets on each side, the top-left one having a puffle design and the bottom-right one usually having o'berries inside; this outfit (along with the following one) is custom-made and insulated.[3] She no longer wore shoes, but still wore her Puffle Whistle.
In 2013, PH's design was changed again. Her fedora no longer had one side bent upwards, and the golden puffle brooch is now on the side instead of the front. Her pink shirt is now tinted red and has small, darker horizontal stripes. She now wears a denim skirt with pockets and a brown belt.
Personality[]
PH has a love for puffles, and animals in general, of all kinds, and bats are one of her favorites.[4] Her favorite place to be is wherever puffles are found, whether in her own igloo or wandering the wilderness to observe puffles' natural behavior;[5] she has spent many days out in the wild pretending to be a puffle.[6]
PH often used vernacular associated with Australia, such as "g'day" as a greeting and "crikey" as an exclamation of surprise. She also usually addresses others as "mate". In both Elite Penguin Force video games, she says "ya" instead of "you" but this trait was dropped when PH returned in 2011.
As PH states during the Halloween Party 2015, she is afraid of UFOs, as they give her chills.
When appearing as a mascot, PH particularly likes playing with and interacting with penguin's puffles, or penguins transformed into puffles if possible at the party. She likes explaining how puffles behave and seeing them perform tricks, and encourages exercise with them by running around and training. She sometimes asks puffle-related trivia questions, or hosts a "PH says" game where she asks for a specific emote to be used.
History[]
Pre-debut[]
At some point PH became interested in puffles and decided to become one. She made a purple puffle costume and journeyed into the wilderness to study puffles up close. While doing this, she started eating O'berries. During her time studying, she learned puffles are similar to penguins and that she really likes O'berries. After a week she returned to her igloo but continued to learn more about puffles.[7]
PH used to have several puffles that she trained with for years, and after a lot of work and learning on her part, she was able to teach these puffles new tricks, some creating new toys and others gaining new abilities. These puffles were later recruited into the Elite Penguin Force as Elite Puffles, and worked for the EPF since.[8][2]
2008[]
The Elite Penguin Force[]

PH demonstrating Blast's ability
PH first appeared in the Elite Penguin Force video game, released on November 25, 2008. She appears at multiple points to teach the player about Elite Puffles.
- In Left to Your Own Devices, the player meets PH in the Dojo's Puffle Training Room. She explains her role as the Elite Puffles' coach, and how she does not teach puffles a new skill, but rather coaches them to develop their existing skills. She introduces Blast, a red puffle, and instructs the player on how to have him shoot out of a cannon to break crates after giving them a Puffle Whistle. She does not teach the player about Bouncer as they already learned prior to meeting her. She then has the player go to the Ski Village to meet up with Dot.
- A search is held to find Gary the Gadget Guy, who went missing. The key to his room is found, but it is bent and breaks when used. Dot has the player consult PH for help. In All's Weld that Ends Weld, PH introduces the player to Flare, a puffle that can weld. However, Flare is feeling sad and unable to produce flame. PH suggests the player visit the Coffee Shop where Flare hangs out. With help from Flare's friends, a get-well card is made, cheering him up. PH teaches the player how to use Flare's ability and the key is repaired.
- Although Gary is later found in the Mines, he suffers from memory loss. In Double Trouble, PH is assigned to help the player train with Elite Puffles Pop and Loop, although they do not want to train and trap PH in a bubble. The player uses sharp bamboo to pop the bubble to free her, and PH asks the player to find the puffles: Loop is at the Ice Rink, who can be won over with snowball throwing skills. After doing so, PH teaches the player about how to make use of Loop's lasso. The player is later able to find Pop at a fancy party in the Night Club, although an incident occurs before the player can return to PH for more training. This incident turned out to be a theft, and with more suddenly occurring, the Director has the player quickly train with the last two Elite Puffles.
- In Flying High Pitched, Jet Pack Guy flies the player to the Tallest Mountain, where PH explains Flit's fast flying and then Chirp's flute playing which can shatter ice and disable machines, while PH yodels in the meantime. PH then has the player descend a grappling hook into the Dojo, where she has the player take a final test with all seven Elite Puffles. Upon completion, the player receives a diploma certifying mastery.
- A while later, Gary's memory returns, and the thefts are revealed to be the cause of his Test Robots gone rogue, but the player is able to deactivate them. As Club Penguin is thought to be saved, the EPF hold a party for the player in the Stage. However, it is interrupted when the Ultimate Protobot 10000, built by the Test Robots using Gary's sketches, kidnaps Gary and the Elite Puffles. In An Agent's Work Is Never Done, if the player decides to visit the Dojo, PH is there investigating large holes in the wall that the Protobot made, while unsuccessfully trying to call the puffles with her whistle. The player later stops the Protobot and saves the island.
- In The Puffle Pranksters, PH is again unable to call the puffles. She suggests visiting the Pet Shop for help. The player is able to find the missing puffles; they were playing hide and seek to welcome a white puffle, who wants to join them. PH is interested in training with the new puffle right away.
2010[]
Herbert's Revenge[]
PH makes a small appearance in the Club Penguin: Elite Penguin Force: Herbert's Revenge video game. She only appears the beginning of the game to help with EPF training.
- The Elite Penguin Force: PH is in the underground EPF Training Facility, where the player, Dot, Rookie, and Jet Pack Guy take a multiple part test to decide who will become leader of a special unit in the EPF to stop Herbert P. Bear. She appears in the first part of the test, briefly explaining Elite Puffles, and then wishing the group luck as they continue.
2011[]
Discovering brown puffles[]
Early in the year, while exploring the wilderness, PH notices a trail of machine parts and follows them through a maze of trees. She comes across a strange machine on a Cliff, and is able to activate it to descend, use a boat to cross the Bay, and then enter the Brown Puffle Cave where she discovers brown puffles. One puffle follows her back, and she begins to study them. Throughout this exploration, PH leaves a trail of notes on her discoveries behind, which are seen during the Wilderness Expedition 2011 that begins not long after.[9][7][5] After discovering brown puffles, PH changes her color from pink to brown.[10]
Pet Shop revamp[]

PH overseeing Pet Shop renovation
After the Puffle Party 2011 ends, PH, in her first public appearance, tells the Club Penguin Times that she noticed that many penguins' puffles want to do more with their owners and express themselves. She plans an upgrade to the Pet Shop at the beginning of March to reciprocate the feelings of the puffles.[11] On March 1, the Pet Shop begins renovations. PH also comes up with an idea to give puffles "more excitement" and works alongside other puffle handlers to develop a new flight-based game for puffles.[12] The Pet Shop is eventually rebuilt on March 8, containing tubes for puffles as well as selling food and toys for the first time in the Puffle Catalog. The game is revealed to be Puffle Launch, and is playable from a giant cannon in the Pet Shop on March 15.
Along with the Pet Shop's redesign, a new Puffle Interface is introduced for puffles in igloos as well. When this interface is opened for the first time, PH appears and gives a tutorial on how it works, explaining puffle stats and how to buy food for them.
Hats for puffles[]
In late September, PH is spotted tiptoeing into the Pet Shop with boxes. When asked for details by a reporter, she states she is preparing new additions to the Puffle Catalog, as puffles are "asking for new ways to show off".[13] In early October, this plan is revealed to be new Puffle Hats, which become available in the Puffle Catalog. PH notes how different types of puffle have varying interest in different types of hats, but that puffles love them overall.[14] Soon after, Aunt Arctic speaks with PH about new a puffle feature where puffles now display thought bubbles over their head in igloos, displaying what they need. PH describes this as puffles being very clever.[15] Around this time, PH helped created the Pufflescape game. The game was made due to puffles loving to roll around in a Puffle Ball.[16]
2012[]
Club Puffle[]

PH planning the Puffle Party
In March, the Puffle Party 2012 is announced, and PH, who is helping plan the party, shares details. She mentions she has been searching the wilderness over the course of the past year, and while she did not find any new types of puffles, she did learn a lot during her time and is planning an ultimate puffle-only party place.[17] PH later reveals this plan is the Puffle Play Zone in the Ski Lodge, which only puffles can enter, and also mentions other attractions at the party.[18] For the following few weeks, PH also hosts "Ask P.H." in the Club Penguin Times.
When the Puffle Party begins, PH appears as a meetable mascot for the first time. She encourages penguins to take their puffles out to play at the decorated rooms tailored to each color of puffle, and check out the Puffle Play Zone.[19][20] She also requests help from EPF agents to make sure nothing goes wrong during the party; although an error occurs with a food-making machine in the Arcade, it is able to be fixed.[21]
Later appearances[]
In April, during the Earth Day Party 2012, PH shares facts about each of the ten animals featured in the event.[22] As the year ends, PH and other mascots give thanks. PH thanks everyone for the year, particularly the Puffle Party, and is excited to show off her future plans in the new year.[23]
2013[]
On the first day of the year, Aunt Arctic looks for details on what the next big thing coming to Club Penguin is: one of the penguins she encounters is PH, who is examining strange feathers.[24] Around this time, PH encounters an orange puffle while researching in the wilderness and decides to train him, naming him Pete, although she struggles due to his immense appetite.[25]
Discovering rainbow puffles[]
At the end of February, PH announces she is finishing the design for a Puffle Hotel to be built for this year's Puffle Party in March. She explains she spotted a strange cloud approaching the island, and through her telescope, noticed what seem to be rainbow puffles on the cloud. She plans for the hotel to not only be a place for puffles to be pampered, but also a way to reach the cloud, with a cannon on the roof.[26] As construction on the Puffle Hotel begins and the cloud gets closer, PH is able to confirm the puffles on the cloud are indeed rainbow puffles, and is very interested in studying them;[27] PH builds a slingshot with gigantic rubber brands, tree branches, and a cushion, and with help from puffles, she is able to launch herself to the Cloud Forest and spend a day with rainbow puffles, learning how majestic they are. PH decides that these owners will need to show responsibility to care for these newly-discovered puffles, and proposes a Puffle Care Quest when the hotel opens.[28] PH also hosts Ask P.H. again for a few weeks.
The Puffle Hotel is completed and has its grand opening later in March, and the Puffle Party 2013 begins at the same time. PH appears as a meetable mascot, and by completing the Puffle Care Quest, members are able to use the Rainbow Cannon on the Puffle Hotel Roof to launch to the Cloud Forest and adopt a rainbow puffle; PH is thrilled by the hotel, declaring it a wild success.[29]
New puffle features[]
In the middle of June, PH quickly notices that puffles are starting to dig up coins from the ground, a new feature called Puffle Digging.[30] When asked about it, PH wonders what other kinds of treasure puffles can uncover. She signals Rockhopper by cannon to ask him if he knows anything.[31] A few weeks later, puffles start digging up treasure chests containing items, to PH's surprise. Word from Rockhopper is received, and he had no idea there was treasure buried on the island but is not surprised. PH remarks that she always figured there was more to the island below the surface.[32]
In September, Rockhopper lands and gives Gary a book of magic potions he found on his travels that used to belong to a witch named Garianna, which Gary consults for potion recipes during the Medieval Party 2013. The final potion requires gold O'berries, which Gary manages to find, and plans to give the berries' seeds to PH.[33] After the party ends, PH reveals she has discovered a special food mix after her long time training puffles that gives any puffle that eats it lots of energy. She speaks to Gary about how the mix can be given to as many puffles as possible, and he building a Puffle Snack Station to dispense pizzas made from the mix. With the station placed at the Pizza Parlor, PH proceeds to head off to examine the O'berry seeds Gary found.[34]
Discovering gold puffles & Operation: Puffle[]

PH discovering gold puffles
In early November, PH reports her success in growing a bush of gold O'berries using the seeds Gary gave her earlier and speculates the berries may be related to the legendary gold puffle. She mentions that her puffle friends tried to eat the berries right away, so she had to move the bush to a locked room. Her puffle Pete ate one and gained the ability to dig up gold nuggets, and wondering if this is connected to gold puffles, decides to investigate more.[35] Not long after, tremors that occurred a few weeks prior[36] cause a cave-in at the Cave Mine, burying it. While attempting to clear the rubble, workers notice a new, separate cave, and observe the rock near appearing to slightly sparkle.[37] Following the cave-in, loose pages from Garianna's potion book around found in the mines. PH points out that these pages describe how to take care of gold puffles, seeming to confirm a suspicion she had that Garianna owned a gold puffle. She and Gary look through the new pages and try and work out what they mean.[38]
Not long after, PH discovers gold puffles deep underground, finding they have been hidden in the newly uncovered Gold Mine the whole time. She shares the steps to find one, which involves completing the Quest for the Gold Puffle: buying a gold O'berry from the Gold O'berry Machine and feeding it to a puffle, allowing them to dig up gold nuggets. Once 15 are collected, the golden jackhammer in the Gold Mine can be activate, drilling a crack in the ground that a gold puffle appears out of.[39] For the first week after gold puffles are introduced, PH appears as a meetable mascot and hosts Ask PH again.
Late in November, puffles start to go missing all over the island, starting Operation: Puffle, and PH appears as a meetable mascot again. She, familiar with the wilderness, helps the EPF search for clues.[40] During the operation, it is discovered that Herbert P. Bear used mind-controlling Brain Boxes to force puffles to dig coins to power his furnace. The only reason he did this was because Klutzy had stolen a coin-operated dial.[41] When Herbert's plans are foiled by the EPF and all the puffles are freed, a herd of no-longer mind-controlled puffles carry him away. PH states the puffles would never harm him due to being too kind, while Aunt Arctic theorizes they likely are trying to bring him somewhere remote so he can't cause trouble.[42] Afterwards, still filled with energy from discovering gold puffles, PH decides to look for undiscovered puffles in hard-to-find locations, starting with ice climbing on the Tallest Mountain.[43]
2014[]
Dinosaur puffles[]
In January, prehistoric times are visited with the Time Trekker 3000. Gary's ancestor, Garugg the Ugg Ugg, discovers eggs of dinosaur puffles which penguins are able to hatch. PH hosts Ask P.H. again, discussing dinosaur puffles. She notes they are capable of living most anywhere but are otherwise not much different from a present-day puffles, and get along with them just fine. She also talks about the new Igloo Backyards.[44]
Cat & Dog puffles[]
In early April, Rockhopper returns to Club Penguin early due to supplies running low from Orange Tabby Cat and Blue Border Collie puffles, although he was unaware of the culprits until he docked. PH is very excited to see the new puffles and helps bring the new puffles to the Pet Shop. Seeing their high energy gives her an idea of teaching them new tricks.[45][1]
A week later when Rockhopper departs, the new puffles become adoptable in the Pet Shop as the Puffle Party 2014 starts, and PH appears as a meetable mascot during the party. When first logging in, PH tells the player to meet her in the Pet Shop to learn about the new Puffle Tricks feature, allowing any puffle to perform tricks anywhere; the Puffle Park room is introduced as well.[46] Partway through the party, the Puffle Gala opens at the Stage and PH invites everyone to show off their puffles' new tricks.[47] After the party ends, PH is proud of the great job penguins did showing their puffles new tricks. She decides to thoroughly search the wilderness in hopes of find new puffles.[48]
New puffle creatures[]
During the Frozen Party in August, PH learns about real reindeer from Anna and Olaf while they are visiting.[49] She also talks about the new snowman puffles created by Elsa's ice magic. PH finds them to be ready for anything and enjoy exploring new places.[50]
In November, PH notices a strange light in the Wilds, appearing to have many O'berries within. PH intends to go deeper in the Wilds than she has before to look into this phenomenon in hopes of making the discovery of a lifetime, having a hunch there could be a new species of puffle.[51] A week later PH returns with news that many previously unseen types of Puffle Creatures have been seen in the Wilds and are now all over the island, excited to explore and meet penguins, including a unicorn puffle named Glitterpants looking for an audience.[52]
The events described above refer to the Puffle Wild app, where many new puffle creatures are introduced. In the app, PH appears during levels to give instructions on how to play the game, and describe the various mechanics.
During the Merry Walrus Party in December, PH encounters blue crystal puffles for the first time, finding them to be "truly magical" and the "perfect puffle for the holidays", and notes their immense generosity. She considers visiting Merry Walrus Island, their homeland.[53] For the new year, PH resolves to explore more of the Wilds with new puffle friends.[54]
2015[]
Puffle Guides & Sasquatch[]

PH shocked to see the Lodge broken into
At the beginning of March, PH shares her latest room renovation project: turning the Lodge Attic into a place to store relics found all over Club Penguin. She also talks about how she has met many unique puffles in the wild and knows penguins want to adopt them. However, due to creatures being a big responsibility, she wants to make sure penguins are properly trained but waits to share more.[55] Later in the month the Ski Lodge and Attic are remodeled, the former into headquarters for Puffle Guides; recruitment for them starts as well. According to PH, Puffle Guides venture into the Wilds to keep them safe, and guide others to treat them well.[56]
During the Puffle Party 2015, PH appears as a meetable mascot. A launch party for the newly remodeled "Puffle Lodge" is canceled when a large fish cake is stolen, with a hole in the wall left behind. PH quickly investigates and speculates a wild puffle ate it due to the presence of O'berries, but is unsure of what kind of puffle could have eaten such a big fish cake.[57] During the party, by exploring the Wilds, it is discovered the culprit was the Sasquatch, a large penguin-like creature that recently appeared. The Sasquatch, who has lived with puffles, did not find O'berries very filling and was overcame with hunger before noticing the cake. He apologizes, and PH lets him having a fishing rod so he can get his own fish to eat.
10th Anniversary & MascBots[]
In September, Aunt Arctic asks others what they would like to see for Club Penguin's tenth anniversary celebrations. PH requests something from the Puffle Party 2009, noting the Snow Forts in particular.[58] During the 10th Anniversary Party, PH appears as one of many meetable mascots. One of the MascBots made by Gary is modeled after her and appears at the Snow Forts to talk about the room. PH is thrilled when Gary brings back some dinosaur puffles to the Town, during a trip to gather decorations for the prehistoric Clothes Shop.[59]
Later during the Anniversary Party, the MascBots all start to malfunction, and by the time the Halloween Party 2015 begins, they go haywire and cause mischief. Gary comes up with a solution to stop them: scare them with things the penguins they are modeled after are scared of, and then deactivate them. PH confesses she gets chills from UFOs. Finding one and bringing it to the PH Bot allows it to be scared and deactivated.
In November, alien puffles arrive at Club Penguin in a UFO. PH is fascinated by puffles from space, considering them to change everything previously known about puffles. She recognizes them as brave and adventurous, and looking for good homes.[60]
At the end of the year, Aunt Arctic asks many penguins about their favorite moment of 2015. PH mentions both the Sasquatch and alien puffles, but also hopes a new power source for the UFO (stolen by Herbert previously) can be found soon.[61]
2016[]
During the Puffle Party 2016 in March, PH appears as a meetable mascot. She welcomes penguins to the party and encourages them to try finding hiding puffles. When each one is found, she shares information about them.
Not long after, PH notices the puffles in the Wilds are excited by something deep in the Wilds, and the Sasquatch is interested as well, heading out to investigate.[62] Later, Sasquatch writes a note and delivers it to PH by means of a blue raccoon puffle. The note talks about how he discovered a Sasquatch Village and wants PH and other penguins should make the same trek he did and visit the village. He gives this note to a blue raccoon puffle to deliver to PH.[63]
During the Finding Dory Party in July, PH builds a marine institute at the Dock, inspired by Rory.[64]
2017[]
During the Waddle On Party, the final party in Club Penguin, PH appears as a meetable mascot. In the final issue of the Club Penguin Times, PH shares a farewell, appreciative of everyone's love and compassion for puffles.[65]

Book appearances[]
Pick Your Path series[]
In the Pick Your Path books, the reader is presented as being a character within each story as the protagonist. As such, "you" is used here to refer to the character representing the reader, as is done in the books. Due to the nature of these books, there are many branching paths, with many mutually-exclusive story possibilities; not all are listed here.
PH's Great Puffle Search[]
PH is a secondary character in PH's Great Puffle Search. At the start of the book, you, new to Club Penguin, decide to adopt a puffle. Accompanied by your friend Jet, you are unable to choose which color to adopt. PH arrives to check on the Puffle Launch cannon, and you ask her for help. After greasing the cannon she asks if you would like to try out Puffle Launch, mentioning she will be going on an expedition after. From here, the first "pick a path" choice is presented, and the story varies depending on this choice and further choices. The first choice is to either ask PH to join her expedition, per Jet's suggestion, or to ask PH to show you Puffle Launch.
If you ask her to join the expedition, she happily lets you and Jet join her, believing extra eyes will be helpful. She explains that a weather balloon of Gary's has detected a large group of puffles traveling north, unusual behavior for them. However, while traveling, PH gets a call from Gary for EPF business. If you decide to look for the puffles on your own, you may end up finding them gathering at the north end of the island, witnessing an aurora, and take pictures and later report back to PH, who is amazed. If you follow PH on her EPF business, she lets you participate. Chirp has gone missing, and Herbert is suspected. You follow puffle tracks and end up at a cave in the mountains. Inside, you find a metal door. Inside is a machine Herbert made to melt ice, and you are able to successfully disable it, and recommends to Gary that you and your friend join the EPF.
If you ask to go on the expedition but inform PH of a green puffle you spot on the way, you pivot to go observe it. Following it, the puffle teasingly drops a black O'berry, which excites PH as she has never seen one. You continue following the green puffle to find a clearing full of bushes of rare, black O'berries. PH takes some samples in jars to try and grow some of these berries in her igloo, and offers to list you and your friend has her "co-O'berry discoverers" in her report. If you decide to stop your search for the black O'berries to following unusual tracks (PH notes the location to search for the berries later), possibly from a new puffle, you end up at the Cliff overlooking the Brown Puffle Cave. A strange noise is coming from the cave across the water, and you head over to investigate in a boat. It turns out they were working on an ice cream sundae-making machine, and share some with you. Heading back to the tracks, PH notices a group of puffles performing a strange dance. She records this, but the tracks have melted. If you choose to not watch the dance, you end up finding a brown puffle that you save from a tree and then adopt.
If you ask for PH to to show you Puffle Launch, she coaches you while you guide a red puffle with the cannons to grab O'berries and complete a few levels. PH then asks whether you want to go to the Iceberg to see white puffles or the Stage to see yellow puffles. The former has you adopt a white puffle while the latter has you end up briefly visiting more locations with PH which varies depending on the chosen path, such as the Stadium and Box Dimension, seeing various puffles and even meeting Rockhopper on the way. Almost all paths in this route end with you adopting one puffle with PH's guidance.
In bad endings, on the EPF mission, you may end up accidentally causing PH to fall into a trap, needing an Elite Puffle or Jet Pack Guy to save her, or fail to dismantle Herbert's machine. You may also end up losing the trail of the traveling puffle group. If you follow the green puffle instead of the puffle group, you may end up unable to find what you were searching for, whether its O'berries or a new puffle leaving strange tracks. If you go around the island with PH to look for puffles after playing Puffle Launch, you may end up lost if you visit the Box Dimension.
Miscellaneous books[]
- Puffle Whisperer PH's Puffle Handbook: The entire handbook, filled with information about puffles such as their personalities and ways to take care of them, is written by PH. There are "Did You Know?" blurbs on some pages where PH provides extra information. In a section named "Let's Time Travel!", PH notes that nobody knows the history of puffles, and she shares some of her own ideas on what puffles may have done throughout history. She shares information about each of the ten colors of puffles in their own sections, and gives explanation about games featuring puffles. At the end, she describes all the "famous" puffles, mostly Elite Puffles.
Club Penguin Magazine[]
- Main article: Puffle Handler/Magazine
PH appears occasionally in the Club Penguin Magazine, usually in puffle-related comics. She is involved a few EPF related stories as well.
Mascot appearances[]
PH could first be met as a mascot during the Puffle Party 2012. Since then she appeared at a variety of events, typically ones relating to puffles. Clicking on the box button on her Player Card allowed the player to receive an autographed background. The PH stamp could be earned by being in the same room as PH.
Since her debut as a mascot, PH could be added to player's Friends List from her Player Card. She and other mascots instantly accepted a friend request, and when she was on a player's Friend List, her current giveaway could be obtained at any time. She and other mascots could not be sent a request by searching their name like normal players, and instead an icon and message appeared instead. For PH, this message was "PH is training wild puffles. To add her as a friend, you must meet her on the island."
For the preset messages PH could use while appearing as a mascot, see Puffle Handler/Mascot scripts.

Trivia[]
- PH hosted "Ask P.H.", replacing "Ask Aunt Arctic", in issue 333 of the Club Penguin Times. She also hosted Ask P.H. in issue 334, issue 335, issue 386, issue 387, issue 388, issue 431, issue 443, issue 444, issue 447, issue 473, issue 486, issue 492, issue 493, issue 500, issue 502, issue 517, issue 544, issue 550, issue 556, and issue 560.
- Hovering the mouse over her portrait in the column caused her to close her eyes and smile. When her portrait was updated to a new art style in issue 431, the green puffle she now holds has its pupils turn into hearts and it sticks its tongue out.
- Since 2012, some secret sections in the Club Penguin Times were presented as being from various characters. PH shared secrets in the following issues: "Puffle Rescue Secrets" (333), "Puffle Launch Tips" (339, 491), "Puffle Paddle" (362), "Puffle Care Tips" (384), "Puffle Games" (386, 512), "Pufflescape" (387), "Puffle Launch" (388, 444, 524), "Golden Items" (421, 523), "Tallest Mountain" (459), "Snowman Puffles (461), "Puffle Launch Tips and Secrets" (463), "Puffle Roundup Tips and Secret" (464), "Puffle Round-Up Tips" (536), "Getting a Gold Puffle" (542), "Pufflescape Tips" (544), and "Puffle Rescue Key" (560).
- Since 2015, the back side of the Club Penguin Times sometimes featured fan art with comments from a character, instead of an "Ask (character)" question. PH commented on fan art in the following issues: 489, 504, 541, 555, 560, and 565.
- PH's involvement with the Elite Penguin Force in later years is vague. During her appearances as a mascot from the 10th Anniversary Party onward, she speaks about being in the EPF in past tense, as if she no longer works with them.[66] However, in February 2016, Dot mentions PH is in "an elite group" with her and Aunt Arctic.[67] Her latest known involvement with the EPF is from the comics "Diva Napped!" and "The Tiny Mystery!" in the last few issues of the Club Penguin Magazine (late 2014/early 2015).
