The Rainbow Celebration was an event in Club Penguin Island. It was first confirmed in a blog post on the Island News Blog on January 5, 2018, by Penny Pebbles. During the event, players could see "beautiful rainbows" as they rolled through the island, and could collect rainbow drops left behind in the sky by hopping on rainbow geysers.^[1]

	Hi, I'm Dot.
	Rainbows are going north, bringing their color across the globe
	I've set up this shop to celebrate. You can get rainbow souvenirs here.
	Just one teensy problem. We're running out of bright colors.
	The best and brightest colors are in rainbow drops. Way up there.
	But there are only so many Jet Pack Guy can get to.
	What's that? Time to investigate.
	I was going to be cautious, but alright.

In a New Year's resolutions post, Dot said she had "super colorful creations planned", possibly foreshadowing this event and her involvement.^[2]
During the event, a rainbow trail would follow your snowball upon throwing it.
During the event, Dot was wearing the rainbow dress seen from the opening cut scene and the app icon.
Dot designed the decorations for the event.^[3]
