The Solar Laser, also known as the High Frequency Infrared Reversion Laser, was a very powerful machine created by Herbert P. Bear. It was located in Herbert's Blackout Fortress during Operation: Blackout. It is capable of blacking out the sun, and due to that, it has caused a snow storm and has turned the island very cold. The EPF Agents disarmed it during the mission. It was preserved by Herbert to make the Hot Sauce 3000.

Trivia

• The machine gets destroyed after you hack the final Security Terminal.
• Once sucking up the sun's energy, the High Frequency Infrared Reversion Laser is capable of using heat energy blasts to destroy buildings on Club Penguin Island. Herbert used this feature to his advantage when he destroyed the Everyday Phoning Facility.
• In the newspaper, Herbert refers to it as the Solar Laser, proving its official name.
• Herbert used old parts from the Solar Laser for his plan during Operation: Hot Sauce.
