  • I am not big on how the membership cards give you items, igloos, and even there own treasure book! And, the jet pack membership card is just crazy they make you spend more of your money when you can get a jet pack in puffle digging. At first it was 2 or 3 items now there is a new one about once a month. And, I have been waiting for a new treasure book for a long time and the cards have there own! I almost never see anyone with the items the cards give. Can't they get rid of some of they cards and make it a code for everyone. They also make you spend more money for the membership cards with items. Well what do you think about all the membership card items?

Not everything Club Penguin is going to do is going to be fair. There are country exclusives and such, and items such as Treasure Book which can only be obtained by getting CP merchandise.

They only put special offers and items on membership cards to increase consumers' interest in it, and also so that they can buy multiple if they want to get more Unlockable Items.

Personally, I don't have a problem with it. I have some Unlockables from older Treasure Books (from old toys and plushies) and I bought a $40 6-Month Membership which let me get some Unlockables for my alternate which I share with my little cousin. I don't really mind the new Membership cards and their offers, though I do pay for my main account (Pirate61201) via my mom's credit card.

Also, I wasn't aware they made these membership cards higher priced than normal. I'm not a frequent buyer of membership cards since I use credit card to pay for it, but I've been in Target and Game Stop and i'm pretty sure they only sell Membership cards with the Treasure Book Items now, I haven't even seen the older Membership cards around (I believe they discontinued them, not sure however since I don't buy them often). And, I think it's a pretty good deal for them too, you can get a 3-month with unlockables for only $20.

That's my opinion on it. I also have been wanting to get the Snowball Launcher Unlockable but it came with a special membership card which I have yet to get. ._."" I think some of the items and unlockable offers on it are pretty cool, though I think i'll stick to credit card.

There is a world-wide crisis, and CP can't afford to give the items away for free. That would make people stop buying memberships. And with the whole Coins For Change events they already lose a lot of money as we donate too much coins and they have to donate a big amount of money to worldwide organizations because of that. That would end up as The End Of Club Penguin. Do you want that to happen?!

It'd be the same. The only change would be that CP'd last more. Specially because almost no one worries about the merchandise. The only merchandise ppl worries about is the magazine, and it's pretty cheap. Besides, think about all the people working on CP. They also need the money from the memberships we buy. So it makes a lot of people needing money. Which makes a lot of money. They won't retire these item cards either. They know the players' greed to get a rare item that almost no one has will finally end up conquering them. See where I'm getting to?

I look at three or more blogs and two of them posted that a membership card has a treasure book for it only. And, one of the blogs was Trainman's.

What I am mad about is that they have a Treasure Book only for membership cards. I have seen (and played) some sites that give items only if you buy one thing but it is like one or two items.

A Treasure Book for membership cards?! You sure?!

Yup. I only saw pics of the book but I have seen the card.

Ah, that means that you can get an item from the Treasure Book if you enter that membership card code! Nothing special!

      Look:

      Membershipcardbook

      Click for full size.

P.S. I found the pics on Google.

I don't think that's what "Bonus Items" indicates. Maybe it indicates that it'll give away some (non treasure book!) items. Maybe the items those penguins from the card wear?

I look at three or more blogs and two of them posted that a membership card has a treasure book for it only. And, one of the blogs was Trainman's.

How odd. Wait, Trainman isn't a member of the staff! Or is he?

What do you think about all the items the membership cards give out.

He is not a CP mod. But, he is a really good blogger.
