The Tinfoil Hat was a head item in Club Penguin. All players could obtain it for free after being abducted by the UFO, which could occur at random.

Abduction times[]

In increments of five minutes, the UFO would abduct one random player in a room, depending on the minute of the hour. Upon being abducted for the first time, players would receive the Tinfoil Hat. The following table depicts the times and the corresponding rooms where it would occur:

Trivia[]
- The item was based on a real-life object of the same name, worn under the belief they will shield the wearer from mind control.
- During the Frozen Fever Party 2016 and Halloween Party 2016, this item was only obtainable at the Skatepark since all other rooms that abductions occurred in had the same swf as the 2015 parties of the same name, which were both made before abductions were coded into the files.
