Well... I really can't believe it's already a whole year since I first joined the CPW.
I remember on the day I was on Club Penguin as well as CPPPS.me when I discovered a very cool item in the January 2014 Penguin Style catalog. So, I decided to search it in Google and the first page I was the CPW. I had a quick flick through pages looking at interesting things about items and checking to see the release history on some of the older items I have from 2011. After having a decent look around for half an hour I decided it felt great to be browsing the CPW and loved the decent and layout (believe it the time this grabbed my attention). I came across many pages on the CPW that I saw needed editing. I thought because I have a good amount of knowledge about Club Penguin I decided to start editing. At first I started very basic editing such as linking words to other pages etc (probably a little too much) but after a few weeks went by I learnt more and more.
Some of the first people I met on the chat room when I joined were Kallie Jo (who I already knew about from seeing him on Club Penguin), Penguin-Pal, Dps04 as well as some others such as Casablancker, Psaro the Penguinslayer, Chriskim98, Twinkie102 as well as many others (feel free to add your name here if you were one of those).
A few weeks later into January I decided to visit the chat room for the very first time. I was so amazed to see such a well populated chat (sometimes 30+ people) and I also loved the design (most chat rooms have boring designs) and the way things were displayed.
Towards the end of January I discovered the Chat Mod Calendar which I applied for on the 31st of January. I had a strong desire to become a Chat Moderator. Finally on the 6th of April I got promoted to a Chat Moderator by Dps04. I still continued to contribute more and more each day.
In April I was nominated for Penguin of the Month by Jess0426 which I won by 17 people all voting For me. Winning Penguin of the Month was a very big surprise to me since I really did not expect to be nominated only 3-4 months after joining, this also encouraged me to edit more and more since it told me people appreciated me editing the CPW. On the 3rd of May I was promoted to a Rollback since several admins including Roger6881, Dps04 and Shurow all agreed that I'd make a good one.
During the months of April, May, June July I had a really stressful time due to being very busy in my personal life and having to deal with hard situations that occured but this did not stop me from being active daily (love this place too much).
In late November time, I was nominated for Patroller (can't exactly remember who by) but it turned out that I won with 7 votes overall, I was so pleased as I've always wanted to be one.
I've really loved my time here so far, the first year has been great and I hope the future upcoming years will be too!
