Okay, let me get one thing straight. I like Christmas carolers as much as the next penguin, but when Christmas carolers start stalking me and refuse to leave until I get them hot cocoa, I draw the line. What am I talking about? Well, if you already know, then you'll also know that I'm about to tell you a story I like to call A Christmas Caroler . . .

"Merry Christmas everyone!"

"Merry Christmas everyone!" I exclaimed excitedly as I bursted out of my igloo. I had just finished present exchanges with my Puffles, and it was time for one of my favorite Christmas traditions - present exchanges with my soon to be Puffles. But thanks to the whole War for Change thing that had happened that year, I didn't have very many coins with me. But that didn't matter, because I knew that the look on each Puffle's face when they saw their present would be reward enough. So, with my wallet stuffed in my Elf Suit pocket, I raced off to buy my soon to be Puffles their presents. First off, I gave Aaron, the White Puffle, a Ice Skate to play in. Then, I gave Harry, the Orange Puffle, a large pizza with his favorite topping - Socks. Then, I gave Lucas, the Yellow puffle, a new video camera for a documentary he was making. Then, I gave Abigail, the Purple Puffle, a new Disco Ball that Garret, my Brown Puffle, had packed with extra features.

I gave Sarah, the Pink Puffle, a Pink Bow to wear.

Then, I gave Sarah, the Pink Puffle, a Pink Bow to wear. Then, I gave Jacob, the Gold Puffle, a special Golden Pickaxe. Finally, I discovered that I only had one more present to get and give - a mega-sized Rainbow Lollipop that my soon to be Rainbow Puffle, Noah, had told me he wanted. And so, I waddled from the Gold Mine, where I had just finished saying goodbye to Jacob, to the Plaza, where I accidentally ran into a group of Christmas carolers. "Oh, pardon me." I said, trying to slip around the gang. But when I stepped to the left, the Christmas carolers stepped to the left, blocking my path. The same, I discovered, happened when I tried to move to the right. Realizing the carolers wanted to sing me a Christmas carol first, I stopped, saying, "Proceed." The carolers then cleared their throats, before singing, in unison, "With hot cocoa warm our bones, or we won't leave you alone!" out of their books. "Huh. I've never heard that song before." I remarked, feeling a little nervous. "Come and bring us hot cocoa, or with our songs we'll drive you loco!" the Christmas carolers sang, confirming what I thought. Quickly, I checked my wallet, where I discovered that didn't have enough coins with me to buy the carolers hot cocoa and buy Noah his gift. "So you won't leave me alone unless I give you hot cocoa? We'll, you'll have to catch me first!" I exclaimed,

I instantly raced off in the direction of the Snow Forts.

before instantly racing off in the direction of the Snow Forts. There, I hid behind the Coins for Change Donation Station, but in a matter of seconds, I heard voices sing out, "Running and hiding are foolish things, so bring our cocoa or we will sing!" I quickly jumped out of the fort, and continued to race into the Town, then into the Coffee Shop, and behind the empty wanted poster in the Book Room. But quickly enough, the troop of Christmas carolers arrived, singing, "You know you can not hide from us, so give us cocoa and do not fuss!" Jumping behind the carolers, I raced again down the steps to the Coffee Shop, where I continued to run until I reached the top of the Ski Hill. "Can't catch me now!" I called, leaping onto a inner tube and racing down the hill. But sure enough, it wasn't long before the voices of the carolers sung out again, singing, "Why do you still run and hide, for you by us will always find!" "Gah! I'll never get away from these penguins!" I groaned, approaching the bottom of the hill. And seeing the carolers quickly catching up to me, I furiously turned,

crashing into the Tour Guide stand in the Ski Village. I got up, but, still feeling the impact, I sat back down, seeing the first of the carolers approaching me, the others not too far behind, before I blacked out. When I next awoke, I found myself in the Coffee Shop, circled by the carolers. "You can not run, not to tease, so come on and buy us cocoa please!" sang the carolers. I thought. I wanted to give these penguins some hot cocoa, but I wanted to get Noah the present he wanted even more. But I knew I couldn't escape. So, saddened, I agreed, and I got the carolers hot cocoa. And so, I waddled sadly to the Puffle Hotel, through the Lobby, and up next to the Cannon. "Could I possibly go up there to Noah, even without a gift?" I asked aloud, to no one in particular. For a minute or two, I stood next to the Cannon, thinking. Then, I decided. "Even if I don't have a present for Noah, I should at least go wish him a merry Christmas." I announced, even though no one else was around, before climbing into the Cannon and firing it. A in a matter of moments, my flight ended, as I landed softly on the Cloud Forest. I then got up, and began calling out, "Noah! Noah! It's me! I'm here!" For a second, all was quiet, until I heard rustling in a nearby cloud bush. And all of a sudden, Noah jumped out, landing excitedly in my flippers. And after a big hug, I set Noah down in front of me. "Look,

"I want to say that I'm sorry for not getting you a present"

Noah, before you say anything, I want to say that I'm sorry for not getting you a present" I said, guilty, "But I'll be sure to get you your present as soon as I can." But then, Noah squeaked back in response. "What?" I asked, after he finished, "But I didn't get you a present yet." Again, Noah squeaked back to me, and when he finished, I said, smiling, "Just coming to see you again is a great present? Wow! I didn't think of it that way." And I gave Noah a big hug. "Thanks buddy!" I said, proud, "Now, I've got to go back to my igloo." I gave Noah a last hug, before heading off to the Rainbow waterfall leading back to the island. But before sliding back down, I said, "I"ll come back to see you again, Noah. And next time, hopefully, it'll be for an adoption!" The end.
