Monsters - one word that usually strikes fear into penguins everywhere. But for me, that word reminds me of the time I went to college and and became OK. You know what, it'll make more sense if you read this story I like to call Let the Scare Games Begin . . .
"hello!"
I was chatting with Filmtraveler in my igloo, when I heard a knock on my door. I opened it to find Mrpenguin887, the mailpenguin and a good friend of mine. "hello!" Mrpenguin887 said, handing me a stack of mail. "Here's your mail." he said, and then left. I then waddled back into my igloo and sat down next to Filmtraveler. "Let's see here - Tour Guide pay check, bill for my Puffle food, junk mail, and - oh man, not this again." I mumbled. "What is it?" Filmtraveler asked. "It's another letter from RΩR. They keep trying to recruit me to their fraternity, but I don't think they understand that I'm already in a fraternity." I answered. "You are? Which one?" asked Filmtraveler. "Oozma Kappa." I answered. "Really? Awesome! I just joined OK! We should be roommates!" suggested Filmtraveler. "Sounds like a plan.
"What fraternity did our friends join?"
The only question now is - What fraternity did our friends join?" I said. The next day, I waddled through the gates of Monster University to get my ID card. I waddled up the the desk, where a penguin dressed as a monster awaited me. "Hello. I'm a new student, and I'm ready to get my ID card." I explained. "Okay then." the penguin monster said. Then, he asked me some questions, brought me to a positioned camera, and took my picture. He then left, and after a few minutes, he returned with an ID card in one flipper and a room key in the other. "Here's your room key," the penguin monster said, "And here's your ID card." He then handed me my ID card. "I can't believe it. I'm officially a college student!" I exclaimed, jumping into the air with excitement. "Well, I better go visit my new roommate. Thanks again!" I said, waving as I left.
"Sorry buddy didn't see you there"
I decided to explore the campus on my way to my room, and because I wasn't looking, I bumped into my friend Phineas99. "Sorry buddy didn't see you there" I said. "No problem." He said, as we got up. "So, I take it you've joined JOX?" I noted. "How'd you know? Phineas99 asked. "You're wearing their team jersey." I pointed out. "Oh yeah. Well, better get back to my fraternity house!" said Phineas99 as he waddled off. "Fraternity house? Perhaps OK has one!" I mumbled. I'd better go check." So I followed Phineas99 out of the campus, to a room that I never noticed in between the Snow Forts and the Plaza. Once we entered the room, I immediately noticed the OK fraternity house and eagerly waddled in. And when I did, I discovered that the room was packed with fellow OK members! I quickly rushed over and sat in the middle of a large couch,
I slipped on my Celadon Alien Costume.
and said, "Hey guys! What's up?" "Glad you're here," said The Bigfoot1, the penguin next to me, "But shouldn't you slip on something more, um, scary?" "Oh yeah." I said, before I slipped on my Celadon Alien Costume. "That's better. Now, back to busine -" The Bigfoot1 said, before stopping, "We better go, guys!" Suddenly, almost everyone left, except me and my friend Mariocart25, who I pulled aside. "Why is everyone leaving?" I asked. "Because class is about to start!" Mariocart25 exclaimed,before rushing off. "Oh my gosh - I can't be late on the first day!"I exclaimed, before rushing off as well. I waddled through the campus until I reached the classroom."
I bursted through the classroom door.
Am I late?" I asked right after I bursted through the classroom door. "No - in fact, you're right on time." said the teacher. "Good." I said, relieved as I took my seat. "Now, first off, my name is Professor Knight," said the teacher, "And what are all of your names?" We then moved through the class, standing up and introducing ourselves. And after the last student was named, Professor Knight began to talk again. "Now, let's start this class off with a quick scaring test." he said. The whole class began to groan, until Professor Knight began to speak again. "Don't worry, it won't count for your grade. You just have to scare this dummy here." Prefessor Knight said, motioning to a robot dummy in a fake kid's room. The whole class then breathed a sigh of relief. "Now, since you were almost late,
"I think Onejoshuarules should go first"
I think Onejoshuarules should go first" said Professor Knight. "Um, okay." I said, waddling up next to the fake kid's room. "Alright," Professor Knight whispered, "All you need to do here is sneak into the room and scare the dummy. Got it?" "Yeah." I whispered back. Then I started. As a highly decorated member of the EPF, I easily snuck up to the bed where the dummy was, and when I did, I let out a roar. Professor Knight then appeared. "Nice job! Brilliant sneaking, though your scaring could use a bit of work." he noted. "Thanks." I said, as I waddled back to my seat. Professor Knight then reset the dummy, and one by one,

the rest of the class preformed their scares. And after the last student finished, class ended. Everyone waddled back to their fraternity houses, and when we did, One OK member piped up. "A lot of us aren't very good." he said, near to tears. "No problem." I said, "Me and my friends can train you." "But the Scare Games is next week!" he exclaimed. "Then we better get started!" I answered. Over the next week, Filmtraveler and I trained our fellow OK members, while training ourselves, and attending our classes. And soon enough, the day came.
I lined up at the starting line.
The OK gang and I lined up at the starting line, along with every other fraternity and sorority. "Suddenly, I heard a voice behind me say, "1joshuarules?" I turned around to see Michellejr4, lined up with the PNK sorority. "Wow. I didn't know you were part of PNK!" I said. "Yep. And we're going to rip you to pieces!" Michellejr4 replied. But before I could make a comeback, Brock Pearson shouted "Go!" and the race began. PNK won the race, but that didn't stop OK. Soon enough, PNK and OK tied, leading to a tiebreaker. "For this tiebreaker, you must compete in a classic scaring exercise - The robot dummy simulator!" Brock explained, pointing to the same exercise as our class did on the first day.
"Let's do it!"
"Ready? Begin!" Brock yelled, and one by one, each member of OK and PNK went, until just I was left. "Come on, buddy, we need a perfect scare to win!" Filmtraveler explained. "Let's do it!" I said, and with that, I started the game. I, of course, snuck like a pro, until I reached the bed. "Come on 1joshuarules, just reach deep down and let the scary out!" I thought. I did, and let out a roar I didn't even knew I had. "And the winner is - OK!" exclaimed Brock. My OK buddies got so excited, they picked me up and carried me to the Scare Games Trophy. "Go on, you deserve it!" Filmtraveler said, and the rest of OK nodded in agreement. "Thanks guys." I said, picking up the trophy,
"Pizza anyone?"
"And don't worry I think I know just the way to celebrate - Pizza anyone?" The end.
