Club Penguin Wiki

Hai! So today I want to talk about how and why Club Penguin is ruined. Before you ask, "Then why are you on this wiki?", the reason I'm here is because even though I don't like the new Club Penguin, I still loved the old game and want to edit pages about it. I write fan-made parties because I want to pretend that Club Penguin has features that I'd appreciate, like non-member items (lots of which I include in my fanon parties). Anyway, here is evidence of Club Penguin being ruined:

1) The member-only system. A few years ago, Club Penguin used to provide many things for people who weren't members. There was only a tiny difference between non-members and members then, but now it's just unacceptable. Non-members can basically do nothing. They can't participate in parties (which I'll get to later), they can't buy anything (and I mean anything; I keep trying and trying but I can't find any item that isn't member-only), they can't design their own igloo (which they used to be allowed to do), they can't record songs in SoundStudio (which used to be DJ3K, actually), etc, etc.

2) The new parties. I can't seem to find any party that was there originally, like the April Fools Party, the Music Jam, and lots, lots more. Now it's all just "takeovers" and sponsored stuff, none of which include getting a goal done. All it is is just redecorated rooms and new costumes.

3) The Puffles. Yes, the Puffles. Puffles used to be awesome to have. You would care for them, take them for a walk, play with them, dance with them, and lots more. We would all get so hyped when a new Puffle came out, which was very rare, but now it just seems like there's too many of them, and new ones come out every other month. I think they've basically covered every color, so they're now adding "Puffle creatures", which are a bit strange and unlike actual Puffles, in my opinion. The Puffle creatures are classified as "rare", but really they're just regular Puffles with new designs. I literally only keep the regular-colored Puffles, like blue, red, green, black, pink, and purple. I don't need a rainbow or gold Puffle just because there were rumors about them on YouTube.

4) The toddlers. For some reason, kids aged 3-5 are now playing Club Penguin, and doing things they shouldn't be: pretending to be a baby (or "pookie") or a hot model strutting down the street flashing the heart emote at people. Maybe even a football player who goes up to female penguins and says something like "is the hottest guy on the team" to get an online date.

5) The ever-changing rooms. I feel like the only room that hasn't had a change in design is the flippin' Box Dimension, which for some reason you can now access from the Ski Lodge (another side note: they changed the Box Dimension from an awesome room that we used to love when it only appeared during parties). And whenever someone complains about this, Disney just pulls out the excuse that it needs to look more "modern". Well clearly, they haven't heard of nostalgia.

6) The fact that Disney owns this game. Basically, when you think "Disney game", most people think "cash grab". Just before it closed, another MMO of Disney's, Toontown, requested money for the littlest things. Thank God it closed and thank God someone made Toontown Rewritten, which doesn't require money. The same exact thing happened to Club Penguin. But, all in all, Disney doesn't want players of their games. They just want money from them. Also, note how when this game wasn't owned by Disney, it didn't require money (actually I'm not sure about this, you'll have to tell me; however it definitely didn't require as much money as it does now).

I really hope you take this into consideration. If you like the game, I won't criticize you; it's perfectly fine, as it's your opinion.
