Hello everybody
I remember mentioning in my previous blog post that I might host another Summer Shenanigans this year. However, I've decided to, first, check with the majority of the active users in here if they're interested in taking part of the event.
I'm not the only that noticed this, but the CP Wiki is falling apart in terms of population. This wiki isn't as active as it was in the past years, and that's what makes me think twice if I should host the Summer Shenanigans this year, or not.
For those who have no idea of what the Summer Shenanigans are, it is a competition between teams in where they have to pass through a series of activities that takes place in the Summer. The activities will be rated by its quality, the number of the team that participated, and the time it took for the team and its users to participate in a certain activity. The team with the highest points wins the Summer Shenanigans. However, if a team fails in an activity, then all its users would have to vote for which user to kick out of the team. The winner(s) win(s) something simple: a special userbox template and a trophy made by me (it's not that big like the Olympic Games :P).
It's very similar to the Total Drama series, in other words.
The activities will occur in Club Penguin and in the wiki. However, due to the drastic uninterest in the game, I'll try to keep the Summer Shenanigans more focused onto activities that occur in the wiki, than on CP.
As for the teams, I'm planning to have 3 teams, and as for the number of users per team, that'd depend upon the number of users that feel like taking part of the event.
So, who wants to join? If you're interested in participating in the Summer Shenanigans, then please comment below the blog post, indicating that you're actually interested in it, and not spamming or making comments unrelated to the blog post. I'm giving it a week to see the results. If the blog post gains at least 12-15 comments (excluding spam and comments made by me), the Summer Shenanigans will happen. If not, then it expected to not see this happen this year.
There is no limit to the comments section.
Finally, if this actually happens the Summer Shenanigans might occur next week - July 29, 2016.
