Hello wikians! Happy Birthday Club Penguin! It's hard to believe it's already been 9 years, I remember the 2nd Anniversary Party like it was just yesterday. Each year they throw a celebration in the Coffee Shop, and some years they're good and some years they're bad. Today, in celebration of the Anniversary, I'm going to share the top 5 best anniversary parties!
5- 2006[]
Starting with number 5, is the very first anniversary party! Although I wasn't playing Club Penguin at the time, it's the fact that it was the very first that gives it a place on the list. Between the island doubling in size, lots of new mini-games, and out of this world parties, Club Penguin's first year was incredible and a great start for the new virtual world. The party actually looked pretty fun, and had a cool looking party hat. I wonder if moderators stopped by to say hi..
4- 2011[]
Next at number 4 comes the 6th Anniversary Party! I loved the Halloweenish theme Club Penguin gave to it since it occurred at the same time as the Halloween Party. It was something that had never been done before. You could watch Night Of The Living Sled and eat cake at the exact same time. Speaking of cake, the design on the cake was just awesome. It was all dark, and creepy, but at the same time it was kind of small. The party hat also had pretty cool colors, too bad it had a new design. :/
3- 2013[]
At number 3 is the 8th Anniversary Party! This one was a major step up from the 7th Anniversary Party. Club Penguin actually decided to decorate the Coffee Shop and throw in pieces of the past. There were paintings of the Festival of Flight and sinking of the Migrator, the first items, modern art, and an AWESOME background of the Old Town. Club Penguin also brought back the party hat display case, so all the new players could see all the history. The only problem with the party was once again, the party hat. I didn't like the design nor the colors Club Penguin picked out. Nonetheless, it was still a great anniversary.
2- 2007[]
Coming up at number 2 is the 2nd Anniversary Party! This was my very first Anniversary Party and probably the one I remember the most. Despite being the 2nd Anniversary, it had a lot of firsts for Club Penguin. It was the first to decorate the Book Room, the first to release a yearbook, and the first anniversary party held after being bought by Disney. It also currently the only anniversary party where the party had could be found in the Book Room. Decoration wise, it is my second favorite anniversary party right after....number one.
1- 2008[]
And finally at number 1 is...the 3rd Anniversary Party! I'm pretty sure I'm not the only person who can say that THIS WAS THE BEST ANNIVERSARY PARTY EVER HELD. It was the only anniversary party to decorate the entire Town and the Night Club. It was also the first anniversary party to have Rockhopper as a mascot, the first to last more than one day, and the first to give away more than one free item. The party hat had pretty sick colors, although it was a little difficult to find. The entire Town was decorated to resemble Times Square where a real life party was being held. Fans of the game gathered from all over the country to join Billybob in the biggest celebration ever held. The 3rd anniversary was a huge milestone for Club Penguin. No anniversary so far has lived up to it, and I don't think any can.
An honorable mention goes to the 4th Anniversary Party. Had this been a Top 6, it would have made it on the list.
