The Viking Penguin Giveaway was a giveaway held by Club Penguin and Jakks Pacific (sponsor) from October 3, 2008 until October 23, 2008, in celebration of the launch of Club Penguin merchandise. Players could enter by providing various information on the official website for the giveaway.
During each week of the three weeks of the giveaway, 1000 random entrants were declared winners, for a total of 3000 winners. Each winner received a package containing a Viking Penguin plush toy, a certificate, and a coin code.
