The Water Party 2008 (also known as the Summer Kickoff Party in issue 138 of the Club Penguin Times) was a party in Club Penguin held from June 13 to 17, 2008. This was the second Water Party in 11 months, and was also thrown as a successor to the Summer Kickoff Party from the previous year. This would be the last summer themed party until 2013.

Trivia
- Players were able to throw water balloons instead of snowballs.
- In the lower right corner of the screen in every room, including ones that were not decorated for the party, there was a water hose beside the Toolbar.
